The MAG540 is Infomir's Linux IPTV box for viewers who want a dedicated, cable-connected set-top box. It runs Linux 4.9 with the Ministra TV platform pre-integrated, and its quad-core ARM Cortex-A35 processor at 2,000 MHz, 1 GB RAM and 4 GB eMMC flash are built for everyday IPTV and OTT viewing. There's no app store to get in the way – the MAG540 is designed around your IPTV service.
The MAG540 outputs video up to 4K (2160p) over HDMI 2.1 and decodes AV1, H.264 and H.265/HEVC. It connects to your router by Ethernet (100 Mbps), and two USB 2.0 ports let you add external storage or a keyboard. The remote control, HDMI cable and power adapter are included.

Does the MAG540 have Wi-Fi?
No. The MAG540 connects by Ethernet (100 Mbps). If you need a wireless connection, choose the MAG540w3, which adds a built-in Wi-Fi module.
Does the MAG540 support 4K?
Yes. It outputs video modes up to 2160p over HDMI 2.1 and decodes AV1, H.264 and H.265/HEVC (HEVC is listed as optional in the specifications above).
Which operating system does the MAG540 use?
Linux 4.9 with the Ministra TV platform pre-integrated. Operators can extend the system image with their own applications, customise it or replace it completely.
Does the MAG540 come with TV channels or a subscription?
