Every MAG540 runs on Linux and is powered by the Amlogic S905Y4 chipset with a quad-core ARM Cortex-A35 processor. This combination delivers the performance required for smooth playback of demanding 4K HDR content while maintaining stable operation. Reliable software and capable hardware allow the devices to run continuously for extended periods without frequent restarts.
Built-in USB ports make it easy to connect a mouse, keyboard, or external storage device, while helping maintain consistent playback even when network bandwidth is limited. Eight-channel Dolby Digital Plus™ support completes the experience with rich, immersive surround sound for movies, series, and live content.
